January 20, 2003: Just a reminder that there will be No curling on the 27th because of the MCA bonspeil. Next week, A Group begins Round 3. There isn't much more for me to say or talk about, so, yeah.
January 19, 2003: For those of you comming back to the site, you may have noticed something different about it. It has changed. The site has had a tune-up this past weekend, and I think it looks better. Let me know what you think, post a message, sign the guestbook, and if you have any suggestions, please, let me know!
January 13, 2003: Congratulations to Mike Tait and his team for beating the
unvanquished team of Gilles Proulx. It was a hard faught battle but in the end, Gilles Proulx and his team were unable
to complete the comeback after what looked like a sure-fire comeback win. Congrats to Mike and the rest of his team on a great game.
December 24, 2002: Please Note: There
will be NO curling on January 6, 2003. The first week back will be January 13, 2003. Merry Christmas everyone, and
a Happy Holidays!!!!
December 23, 2002: The Christmas Banquet today was,
as usual, a HUGE hit! Pizza was served and prizes were given out. And who can ignore, by far,
the GREATEST part of it, the annual CAKE EATING CONTEST! Mike McRae, the Undefeated
champion was stripped of his title today, as Marc Proulx totally embarassed the opposition. Drew Brown, Patrick Smith,
Gilles Proulx, and Bill Sawchuck were the other participants.
Speaking of Bill Sawchuck, he won the classic "Turkey Shoot" today, litterally, by an inch. Way to go Bill!
December 22, 2002:
The Christmas Spiel is fast aproaching, and it's everyone's last chance to get into Provincials! Is everyone all
registered yet? I would hope so, The tournament begins this Friday and goes on until Monday.
There are still 2 spots left for Prov's, so you still have a chance. Even if you don't win,
it's an expeience and a half! Come on out!
